2019
Globaltruck was further strengthened by a new team of top managers from major retail companies, led by Ilya Sattarov. The new management team was given the task of pursuing the company's growth strategy through developing asset-light projects. The freight forwarding business was also successfully expanded.
2018
Globaltruck significantly increased its truck fleet as part of its Development Strategy.
At the end of 2018, the number of trucks totalled 1,363, an increase of 20% year-on-year.
2017
In July 2017, OOO GLOBALTRUCK MANAGEMENT was reorganized into a joint stock company. In October 2017, the company became a public joint stock company and was renamed PAO GLOBALTRUCK MANAGEMENT.
In 2017, the company successfully completed its IPO on the Moscow Exchange. Globaltruck set up an operating company OOO Gruzoprovod to manage the Cargo Pipeline project.
2016
A Russian holding company, OOO GLOBALTRUCK MANAGEMENT, was established to consolidate the management functions and to unify operating standards.
2015
Globaltruck acquired the assets of Transsibural Group, the rival in Yekaterinburg, adding 130 trucks and 152 refrigerator trailers to its fleet.
2014
GTL was established in Moscow to streamline operations. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) set up a EUR 10 million credit facility, enabling GTL to obtain new assets. Globaltruck acquired the Russian assets of Quehenberger, Austria-based international logistics operator.
2013
Globaltruck stepped up its growth by expanding its fleet to 663 trucks.
Globaltruck acquired Longrun transportation company in Novosibirsk
2012
The newly incorporated transportation holding company GT Globaltruck Limited acquired trucking operators Lorry and Magna. The joined fleet of the two companies totalled 412 trucks.
